The Mizudashi Coffee Maker offers a simple method for making cold brewed coffee at home. Simply add ground coffee to the fine mesh basket, add water and leave in the refrigerator to brew. This pot also has a removable filter, making cleaning easy. Grind coffee coarse for a lighter more delicate coffee, or finer for a cold brew with more body and strength.

The last cold brew pitcher we had required a mesh cold brew bag that was difficult to wash and messy. We decided to upgrade to this cold brew pitcher since it has a built in diaphanous membrane. I was a little skeptical at first of how this membrane would work but it works even better than the cold brew bags I was using. There was no coffee grounds that got through the membrane and it was even easier to clean. The quality of this pitcher and filter are excellent and worth the price!
It’s insanely easy to clean the polyester filter in daily use. Much easier than metal filters for sure. Theoretically, it will require a baking soda soak after some time, but looks clean after one use. Metal meshes are so cumbersome to clean day-to-day for me that I end up prefering polyester!
Brews an excellent cup of joe and has a decent glass thickness. Hario knows how to cold brew!
