As the other reviewers said that his trigger doesn't fit. It's sort of loose and you have to hold it to let the coffee come down

Doesn’t fit like the original

The lever is nicely made. However, I have to hold it down for the flow to work properly unlike the original plastic lever.

It works fine, doesnt seem to fit the body as tight of tolerance as the plastic one the hario switch comes with but functions just as good.

Doesn’t work as well as the plastic trigger. Ends up closing during drawdown.

I've been using this along with a new Switch base daily for a month. It does not fit perfectly like the plastic one, but it has not popped open for me even once.

These are a very nice looking upgrade!

Fits sort of OK. A bit lose on my unit and sometimes have to puss or pull a couple times to get it to engage. Worse than plastic original in this regard. Feels light, but it’s aluminum, with the good and the bad. Does its job and good price. I’ll likely get used to it and forget about the comparison.

It's not that it fits less snugly as other reviews say, it pops open spontaneously, making the Switch hard to use with this aluminum trigger as a result. It does not stay in the down position, because the side tabs are too small to engage with the silicone base and it slips out constantly. Since I did not like this, I returned it and opted for the original plastic filter. If it stayed in the down position more securely, it would be a better product that I would definitely buy to replace the plastic filter, since it would be more sturdy.

Finish is acceptable for $5.50.

Annoyingly, though, the aluminum switch doesn’t fit as snugly as the stock PCT resin one: it wiggles a bit when installed, and has a tendency to pop itself from the open to the closed position unless you really press it down when draining.

This is the cheapest way to get a metal switch on your Switch, but is completely skippable.

Works as it should. It transfer heats and gets hot though.
