The HARIO Alpha V60-01 is crafted with easy-to-clean, BPA-free, and shatter-resistant Tritan with twelve evenly spaced canals, guiding water flow downwards while keeping the paper filter adhered to the brewer. The result? The coffee bed is evenly extracted, promoting balanced flavors and more detectable aromatic compounds.

Use the HARIO Alpha Series V60-01 Dripper to brew perfectly balanced, delightfully complex pourover coffee. Here is a recipe courtesy of Eight Ounce Coffee.

1. Boil water to around 90°C (194°F), or to your preferred temperature.
2. Wet the HARIO V60-01 paper filter inside of the dripper to remove paper taste.
3. Weigh out a 1:16 ratio of ground coffee to water (i.e., 12.5g of coffee for 200g of water). Adjust ratio if necessary.
4. Add 2-3x the amount of water as the coffee's weight. This is your bloom cycle, which takes 30-45 seconds.
5. Add the remaining hot water intermittently. Timing will vary depending on your recipe. Generally, this is between 1:15-1:30 minutes, with a total brewing time of 3-4 minutes.
